This fine piano is what Steinway used to call the "Professional Upright" due to its warm, full sound, true sostenuto, and rubber double casters that make it easy to move around a studio or rehearsal space. It was the top upright choice for conductors, composers, students, teachers, singers and choir directors. The string plate has the number 45 on it. But it is actually 46.5" tall. (The largest piano, the model K, is 52" tall with metal casters. Not so easy to roll.) This piano is in very good condition, used lightly in a private home for 20 years. In Dec. 2021 it was tuned, cleaned, action touched-up, and a Piano Saver climate-control system installed. It is being sold from the owner's home in Holyoke, MA by Flynn Pianos. Price includes matching bench. Buyer pays for moving etc.
