This is a 1948. Something Special about the pianos made in 1947,1948,1949.
It is as if the Spruce might have stay outside a few years longer than most years.
I looked at the soundboard and it has very tight grain.
That is why I like the dynamics of this piano. The range of color is soothing and wide.
The case is in very good condition. The Hammers, Shanks and Flanges are made by Renner. Steinway Company owns Renner, so this piano would have parts made by a Steinway Company. Steinway would only purchased a Great Company such as Renner. And in Fact ALL Steinway Hamburg Grands use Renner Parts.
Very nice Bone Keys. A Few Chips.
Where are you going to find a B that sounds this good. Has a perfect Soundboard that is Original.
Many many years of life left in this piano.
Right now the piano is calibrated to a Level 2. This Calibration was completed by a Master Technician with 38 years of experience.
