Extremely rare 1913 Stickley piano. This was the second of Stickley's two partnerships with piano manufacturers. Hand-hammered copper lamps and all hardware have excellent patina, piano's original fumed oak finish has been well maintained. Ivory in perfect condition. Works and player restored by Craig Brougher (has been in storage in a friend's house for about 10 years and mechanism will need some adjusting). I've only seen three of these in 25 years, and only one other in relatively good condition and original finish. The piano has incredible presence and warmth, as well as beautiful rich tone and organ-like base like many pianos of this era. Mr. Brougher replaced all strings, pins, hammers and felts, soundboard, bridges and pinblock are all in excellent condition. Located in the living room of my 1910 Craftsman bungalow in Austin TX.
