I have a GP178 5' 10" satin black Boston Grand piano that I bought brand new in 1997 that I hate to part with but after having a stroke, my left hand doesn't enjoy playing like it used to. And we're moving in a few months.
It's in pristine condition, never been moved except from the showroom to here, and hasn't been played much in the years I've had it. But, I've kept it professionally tuned and even built the room it's in with solid maple floors to showcase the wonderful sound of this amazing piano. It comes with an upgraded, beautiful, padded, adjustable-height piano bench that cost me a small fortune at the time.
It's already priced to sell, but I'll consider any reasonable offer that's lower than retail market value (in other words, what any consignment broker might pay me for it).
I'd rather sell it to a private party for considerably less than if I send it off to a consignment store.
