UPDATE - I now have pictures, and can send an audio file of the piano tuner playing it if you would like to email me. Yes, I had it tuned, and played it when I visited. The professional tuner also assessed the piano for structural integrity and general condition. He said it was in very good shape. A few felts are slightly worn (it's been played!) and he knew the person who refurbished it, and said it was a good job.
The pictures make the wood tone look significantly darker than it does in person. I think all the surrounding lighter wood skewed the color a bit.
There is one small ding in the side, less than 1.5" x 0.5" - I have a photo to send if you'd like. Other than that, it is in great shape, and the matching bench is as well.
Thanks for looking!
My family bought this piano from the original owner (an elderly gentleman) in 1985/1986 and my parents had it refinished, restrung and completely mechanically refurbished (broken and cracked ivory keys were replaced) as my "Sweet 16" gift.
I am not positive on the size (not there at the moment) but it is a lovely baby grand with the original bench, too. I will update size and add pictures later this week.
If you're willing to have it picked up professionally (don't want to damage the house) I am open to negotiation. My top priority is to re-home this piano to someone who will appreciate it. Sadly it just would not fit into my own house.
This piano is currently just north of Rochester N.Y.
