Rarely available for sale today, Starr pianos were highly regarded in their time and invariably won awards at international expositions.
This one, the Model M, was labeled an Upright Grand because of the full length of its strings and because it boasted the largest area of sound-board.
While more than a century old, this particular piano has benefited from loving care through the years. Thus, even today, its inner works remain in surprisingly good shape. Just tuned, the piano tuner did not recommend restoration.
Enjoy the full sound and craftsmanship of this historic upright baby grand without needing the space which would be required by a traditional baby grand piano.
