Price just reduced from $14k to $10k! Still open to negotiation!
Hi! I have a gorgeous 5’10” Vogel by Schimmel grand piano that I’m trying to sell due to divorce; it was my ex-husband’s. The piano was just appraised at $19,000 by The Piano Company; my loss can be your gain! If you’d be interested, or if you know of anyone in the market for one, please let me know!
It’s a 2005 Vogel by Schimmel Model 177 in Mahogany polish, with fluted legs & a specially carved music desk, both custom upgrades. It has a built in climate control system, installed brand new in 2016. It was fully inspected last month & found to be in mint condition, like new. All working action parts are at perfect industry standard measurable levels. It comes with a factory matching bench (that needs to be reupholstered, as just the leather shows wear), fitted double-layer custom piano cover, factory matching mahogany caster cups to protect both the piano and the floor, and I’ll even throw in a free set of tuning tools & a book, “The Great Pianists”! Want some other gifts with purchase? I can throw in some other stuff I’m selling too!
It’s a remarkable piano! One piano dealer told me Vogels are considered “the Mercedes Benz of pianos”; extremely well-built, highest quality materials, perfect for every day use. It sounds absolutely beautiful! One classical musician told me its sound is right in the sweet spot, “not too bright, not too mellow”. As proof of its quality, despite its age, the piano technician also noted the hammers show next to no wear!
I’m hoping to get around $10k for it, but I’m open to negotiation. If I can’t sell it this weekend, it’ll be sold by The Piano Company for $19k. But they take such a big cut, I’ll get more cash selling it at $10k and you’ll get a better deal. It’s a win-win!
Please, if you happen to know anyone in the market, I’d really really appreciate a referral. Thanks so much!!
