We are putting our beloved 2000 Steinway 1098 upright on the market in preparation for our move in July. Bought it new in 2000 for $14,000. Selling it for less than it's "blue book value" for $5,000 (bench and Dampp Chaser included) because we cannot take it with us.
It definitely needs a tuning and has a few paint flaws from our last few moves, but you can't beat the action or the touch. It outperforms many grands. No problems with the soundboard. You won't get this price for an instrument of this quality from a dealer!
This is a heavy instrument that will require professional movers with equipment
