Flowing curves and elaborate scroll work are the hallmark of the Louis XV style.
Executed in tastefully figured mahogany, this rare and beautiful piano evokes a certain poetic quality in its sumptuous lines and delicately carved detail. A classic example of the melding of exquisite wood carving with the musical perfection that comes from within, this one of a kind masterpiece was crafted at Steinway & Sons in New York in 1914 - during the company's "Golden Age", when piano manufacturing was raised to an art form.
The ivory keys are original and in near mint condition. The original bench is included.
