I’m offering up my beautiful 2005 Yamaha C7 SE Conservatory Grand Piano.
A couple of things about this C7 that stand out better most other C7’s are;
-The extra 2” length at 7’6”, not the typical 7’4” from 1993 and before
-The stained Mahogany interior of the case, not the typical painted finish
-The beveled edge of the lid
-The soft close lid
-Manufactured in Japan, not Georgia, Michigan, China, Taiwan, or Indonesia
-The overall excellent condition of the piano because of its young age
Although unnecessary because of the relatively new age of the instrument, I still had my master piano technician/tuner recondition the piano including vacuuming interior, cleaning strings, hand rubbing of the case, regulating the action and pedals, and stabilizing the pitch to A-440 - which he noted was extremely stable because of the frequent tuning history of the instrument, and the humidity controlled environments the piano has lived in.
He also noted how little use this piano has had as noted by the condition of the hammers as shown in the pictures. You can see my piano tech putting the piano through its paces in the Youtube video below...
The piano is in excellent condition with all of the original Yamaha stickers from the factory still attached. There are a few scuffs on the gold harp where a microphone would have been positioned. It is only upon close inspection that you may see light smudges or scuffs, but no scratches or gouges. Your overall impression is that this is a like new instrument.
Included with this auction is your choice of the upgraded Schaff Grand Piano Spider Truck Dolly with 5” diameter locking casters (great for institutions where the piano will be moved), or the original stock 1.75” diameter solid brass individual leg casters (more appropriate looking in a living room setting). Also included in this auction is the piano bench pictured.
Myself, as an apprentice piano tuner, technician, and mover, have all of the equipment to properly move the piano within the state of Florida or other southeast states.
If you would like to come pick it up, or have it picked up by your carrier, I will throw in the piano moving board, packing blankets, straps, expertise, and manpower to get it loaded in the truck or trailer for free.
