This is a piano larger than 6 feet and so qualifies as a "grand" (not baby grand). You should purchase the largest piano that your budget allows because what most people don't realize is that the larger a piano is the more expressively it can be played. The longer a piano's keys, the easier it is to control the musical "dynamics" (i.e. softness and loudness). Ever wonder why recordings of concert pianists sound utterly different? It's because of the masterful subtlety of their dynamics. Choices have been made about virtually every single note of a piece and when successfully rendered the result is stunning.
This piano was made in Japan by the Kawai in 1985 and is still going strong!
