Model O Grand piano. Mahogany. Completed in New York on January 6, 1914. Piano was my mothers. She was an extraordinary musician. She had this piano since she was 16. It is a beautiful well cared for instrument that was an integral part of her every day life. About 2000 my mother had the piano cabinet restored. The restorer went with lightening the finish as opposed to straight refinishing (because it’s a wood that isn’t used much in piano making anymore and he thought we should show off the wood grain. It was appraised in 2006. At that time it was worth about $18,000. The appraiser said it was in excellent condition. I had it tuned (Dec 2016) and the piano technician said it was worth about $23,000. The keys are original and are ivory. All in excellent condition. Please contact me to arrange a time to play this beautiful piano and decide for yourself if it should become part of your life.
