This lovely instrument from the “Golden Age of the Piano” is offered for sale. The piano has been owned by our family and was lovingly restored in 2001 by a well-respected piano restoration workshop. Serial #260535. Restoration consisted of over $12,000 of work including new white and black (ebony) keptops, restringing with new pins, soundboard and & bridge refurbishment, reestablished downbearing, replate, buff & lacquer metalwork, rebronze & lettering of cast-iron plate, refelting of plate, rebuilt pedal lyre, refurbished damper felts, refinished case in hand-rubbed ebony lacquer, tear-down & reassembly including case refelting as well as complete action-keyboard regulation & voicing. The rebuild was completed with Renner parts and Abel hammers. The piano was moved to our family’s New Jersey townhouse after the restoration was completed and remained there until this year.
